Trade Liability Insurance
If you are running a dive school, store or club you should be insured for trade liability risks such as
Public Liability
Products Liability
Employer’s Liability
Compressor Liability
Boat Liability

When choosing a liability insurance policy there are many questions you will need to ask to make sure you will be insured for all the risks associated with running a dive business.
You need to be sure that, so long as you are acting within the relevant Approved Code of Practice, you will be properly covered in the event that you, or your staff, cause injury or loss to a third party or their property.

There are many insurance policies available to cover your business, but very few of those will have been written specifically for running a dive business.
Many insurance policies will be based on or adapted from standard retail or commercial insurance policies, and would not provide adequate cover in the event of a claim associated with many aspects of running a dive business.
There are many brokers or insurance companies happy to quote for your liability insurance but not many of them will have the specialist knowledge of the diving industry and the associated risks.

Dive Master Insurance Consultants Ltd., the leading specialist in diving insurance offer a unique policy called INDIGO.

Indigo has been written especially for the dive trade to cover all aspects of running a dive business, including advice and instruction, servicing of equipment, and your liability to your staff or members of the public.
