WORLDWIDE DIVER

This is a medical and repatriation insurance (including IDEC) for divers who will be outside the United Kingdom for a period in excess of 6 months.
Cover is totally Worldwide and includes cover for up to 17 days Winter sports.
This policy has all the standard cover you expect from a medical and repatriation insurance.
There is also cover for up to € 1.500 diving equipment including whilst in use and € 30 per day (up to € 150) for the hire of replacement of the lost diving/skiing equipment during a period of travel. There is up to € 225 available for loss of diving activity days due to injury or illness which first occurs on the trip and prevents the Insured Person engaging in sport diving. There is no cover for cancellation or curtailment under this policy.

If your diving equipment is valued over € 1.500 in total or if any item is valued over € 300, please take our Annual Diving Equipment Insurance to ensure you are fully covered.

Worldwide Diver includes an annual International Diving Emergency Card (IDEC), ensuring the best worry-free protection possible for 365 days a year.
This means that not only are you covered for diving while you’re on holiday, you are also covered for all your UK diving - even if your dives are not pre-booked.
If you suffer a diving injury or illness anywhere in the world, IDEC provides access to CEGA, an assistance company with specialist diving doctors on their staff who will oversee your treatment.
CEGA will pay immediate hyperbaric and medical costs, keep your relatives informed of your progress and arrange specialist repatriation if necessary.
